EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Fourth Grade Teacher:
Art & Science Academy (ASA), a public charter school district with two schools (grades K-4 and 5-8), is seeking a first grade teacher to begin August 2023. This is a 1.0 FTE position with benefits.

Duties include, but not limited to:
Develop lessons and plans aligned with the MN State Standards
Evaluate and assesses student performance
Conduct regular communication with parents
Interpret student progress and work with a team to help determine interventions and accelerations
Classroom management with training in Catalyst (formerly Envoy)
Participate in a collaborative work environment
Develop or administer pre-designed art integration lessons
Collaborate with special education teachers and paras, Title I and Reading Corps teachers and others involved in student progress

Requirements:
Current Minnesota Elementary Education teaching license

Art & Science Academy is located in Isanti, Minnesota. Isanti is 45 minutes north of Minneapolis-St. Paul and offers a small town feel with nearby big city amenities. ASA opened its doors in 2014 with a single K-6 school that served 160 students, and now serves approximately 350 students in grades K-8 on two campuses (K-4 and 5-8).
