Job Description

We are currently accepting applications for a full-time online special education teacher.
• MNOHS core hours are 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. M-F, during which time full-time staff are expected to be online and available for synchronous meetings.
• Other hours are flexible and may include occasional evenings or weekends.
• This position requires infrequent visits to the MNOHS office in Saint Paul and/or travel.

• Complete Teaching Online, the MNOHS training course, and participate in ongoing online professional development (synchronous and asynchronous)
• Teach and manage a case load in a highly interactive and collaborative online environment


• Minnesota license or licensure candidate in one or more special education areas.
• Excellent communication, teaching, and strategic skills
• Interest in asynchronous online learning environments
• (Preferred) Interest in assessing students, including initial evaluations
• (Preferred) Experience as an online student
• (Preferred) Work Experience or Business Education Licensure
