Job Description

Job Summary: The Enrollment and Marketing Coordinator oversees student recruitment, enrollment processes, alumni relations, and related event coordination. This role also supports academic partnerships and advocacy efforts by collecting data, managing communications, and coordinating logistical support for events. Reports to the Director of Advancement.


Key Responsibilities:

Student Enrollment and Retention:
-Develop and implement strategies for attracting and retaining students.
-Oversee the recruitment and enrollment process for PK-12 students, including Kinder Prep scholarships and VPK program support.
-Upon initial enrollment, ensure student and family data is accurately input into the student information system.
-Track enrollment data and adjust recruitment strategies based on data analysis.
-Manage student tours, school visits, and registration packet preparation.
-Prepare enrollment updates for Finance, the Executive Director, and the School Board.
-Collaborating with principals/supervisors, offer training for front desk staff and other public-facing staff in their roles and responsibilities, via their supervisors. It will include how they interact with families to impact enrollment and retention. Also technical training on software.


Marketing Campaigns:
-Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, providing strategic direction, and reviewing outcomes for effectiveness in student recruitment
-Monitor all marketing materials for adherence to LILA’s style guide.
-Manage the development and execution of marketing campaigns, as requested, for other efforts such as fundraising campaigns or advocacy efforts.


Alumni Relations:
-Coordinate and/or assist with annual alumni events.
-Manage alumni data, including senior emails, photos for presentations, scholarship award tracking, and post-secondary contact information.
-Collect statistics and data on each graduating class for the school’s annual “Spotlight on Achievement.”


Event Coordination:
-Organize/support events such as Kinder Roundup, open houses, graduations, and summer marketing events.
-Prepare materials for events, including print and digital content.
-Coordinate outside entities for needs including live streaming of concerts and graduation, photography, and congratulatory letters to graduates from legislators.


Supervision:
-Directs the work of the Marketing and Communications Specialist

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
-3+ years of experience in student enrollment or academic program coordination.
-Strong organizational skills
-Demonstrated initiative to reach goals
-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires vocal communication, hearing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, long periods of sitting, pushing, pulling, use of hands to grasp and feel, and vision abilities including close, distance, and adjusting focus. Occasional lifting/moving required up to 25 pounds. Work is generally in a moderately noisy location.
