Job Description
We are seeking qualified applicants for the position of Licensed Teacher / Learning Manager. Preferably a science teacher licensed for grades 9-12. This position involves teaching and advising in many capacities. A learning manager and teaching position at Wolf Creek Online High School involves being an academic and non-academic counselor as well as teaching classes. In terms of being a science teacher, we are looking for a candidate who is willing to apply for a waiver (OFP or CCDP) to teach science courses outside of their specific licensure. The ability to work several days a week from home and with a variety of supports allows Wolf Creek to offer the best possible online education services and support for our students.
This position involves working several days per week from our campus location in Chisago City, Minnesota.
Qualifications
A qualified candidate will possess the following qualifications:
● A valid Minnesota Teaching License is a requirement. Licensure in 9-12 science is preferred.
● Willing to apply for a waiver (OFP or CCDP) is required.
● Ability to work with an at-risk high school student population a requirement.
● Effective communication and organizational skills are a requirement.
● Ability to work on a team and contribute in a positive manner is a requirement.
● History of working with alternative forms of educational delivery, especially online, is a plus.
