Middle School Math Teacher

Job Description

Beacon Academy is currently seeking a hard-working and passionate educator to join our team as a Middle School (7-8) Math Teacher.

Our Middle School Math Teacher will be developed, supported, and guided by the Principal. The Math Teacher’s major responsibilities are:

Implement curriculum and activities to meet the academic standards, participate in collaborative curriculum development, grade-level activities, and school-wide functions. Be accountable for students’ achievement of academic standards; communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues. Effectively implement Responsive Classroom techniques.

Qualifications

Candidates for this position should have strong leadership, organizational, communication and decision-making skills; and the ability to identify learning challenges, analyze, process, and make judgements with the sensitivity that is necessary to lead and coordinate programs for students.

Education: Bachelor's (Required)
License/Certification: Teaching License (Required)
Work Location: In person
