Special Education Teacher

Job Description

Special Education Teachers at Schoolcraft Learning Community are responsible for the following:
- Develop and implement both Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students with special needs
- Providing direct instruction to students with special needs
- Monitoring and assessing student progress
- Providing accommodations and modifications to the curriculum
- Provide support to students in the general education classrooms when appropriate
- Attending IEP meetings
- Documenting and tracking student progress
- Other duties assigned

Qualifications

Applicant must hold an active teaching license in Minnesota.
