MN Charter School Pioneer Award
The MN Association of Charter School Pioneer Award is designed to recognize the contribution of individuals who have played a pioneering role in the charter school movement or an individual charter school in Minnesota. The Award is given out at the Association’s Annual Meeting.
What is a Charter School Pioneer?
A Pioneer is someone who leads the way, breaks new ground or establishes something new. The Minnesota Charter School Pioneer Award recognizes and honors individuals those who have played an important role in leading the way in public policy, breaking new ground in education practices or establishing new and successful institutions in Minnesota’s charter school movement. In other words – People who have been Pioneers in “Unleashing Education from Convention.”
Awardees of the MN Association of Charter School Pioneer Award are individuals who have played a significant or key role and have had a positive and ongoing impact in leading the way in policy development or research, breaking new ground in education practices, or who have played a critical role in founding or establishing a successful charter institution within the charter school movement in Minnesota.
