Kindergarten Teacher (LTS)

Job Description

Cannon River STEM School is seeking a Kindergarten LTS for the remainder 24-25 school year.

Our vision is to become an innovative leader in outdoor education while creating a community of students who love to learn. Teachers at CRSS are responsible for bringing the CRSS mission to life, fostering each student’s innate curiosity and joy of discovery.

Teachers achieve this through student-centered, collaborative and experiential learning with an emphasis on the environment as an integrating context. Teachers are responsible for organizing and implementing instructional programs to meet and exceed the K-8 standards.

Qualifications

Required Education, License, Experience and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree of related subject from accredited university.
Valid MN teaching license in elementary education
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with parents, students, teachers, staff, administrators, agency personnel and others.
Must be self-motivated, self-directed, collaborative and flexible.
Must clear pre-employment background check.

Cannon River STEM School is a K-8 charter school located on a 55 acre campus in Faribault just 30 miles south of the Twin Cities. With small classes and plenty of space to take learning outdoors, our school community fosters each student's innate curiosity and joy for learning. Celebrating 15+ years, our education program utilizes the environment as our foundational teaching tool along with other student-centered teaching practices.
