Community of Peace Academy HS - Different and Innovative Teaching Methods
The college-bound, “deeply embedded curriculum,” places high expectations on students to which they rise.
Whether it’s through a more traditional PSEO program or the College in the School classes, students are supported in their concurrent enrollment and they benefit by earning transferrable college credits and saving on future college tuition.
During the 2014-2015 academic year alone, students collectively earned 460-credits and saved well over $200,000.00.
The cost of this programming to the school is only about 8-percent of these tremendous savings, but the biggest benefit of this deeply embedded programming is confidence students have in their capabilities of not only getting into college, but being successful there as well.
