Through Amy's leadership over the past 13 years, BlueSky has established a tradition of innovation and a model of continuous improvement, collaboration, and support. Because of this, BlueSky has very low staff turnover, high ratings on our staff satisfaction surveys and has been named a Top Workplace by the Star Tribune for three years in a row. 

Amy is a pioneer in leading the development of a comprehensive, individualized, and dynamic online school. With the support of BlueSky’s school board, she ensures that resources are allocated to developing technology systems that meet BlueSky’s mission. After a thorough review of BlueSky’s student population and how students work, she envisioned the development of My Pace and Group Pace courses. These unique course options were designed to meet the specific needs of students who either desired to work in a collaborative online environment or work in a supported, self-directed environment.
