Wendy Harris

Wendy has been a teacher at Metro Deaf School in Saint Paul since 2004 and previously taught in San Diego. She is active in multiple professional organizations and has teaching licenses in social studies and teaching students who are Deaf and students who are Blind. She has experience teaching all ages and currently is primarily a high school social studies teacher while also serving DeafBlind students of all ages. She enjoys continually learning, reading, travel, and (most of the time) her daily bike commute. She believes some benefits of being on the MACS relicensure committee include giving back to the profession and supporting teachers through the process.
