Job Description

As a member of STA’s Academic Team, the Educational Assistant works with the Classroom Teacher to assist special education scholars in grasping daily lessons and achieving overall academic and social success.

Qualifications

2+years of experience or is pursuing a second career in teaching OR
Self-starters, eager to learn and committed to coaching
Experience in diverse environments
Holds a demonstrated belief in all student’s ability to learn and achieve at high levels
Special Education Educational Assistant positions require:
Associates of Arts (A.A.) degree or higher OR high school diploma or G.E.D. and at least sixty (60) college credits OR successful completion of Parapro examination. Parapro exam offered by STA.
